Happy Tooting to 2015 !

Happy New Year to everybody from Alfa and me (Queen Zara ), the most beautiful cat in the world 2014 now is so yesterday and we are getting very excited for this year, 2015.

Monday started with Mummy, Daddy and Shoko, back to work and trying again to do 5 days of work into just 3 days. They all worked very hard and long, but don’t worry….they always found time to feed us on time every day.  On Wednesday night, (New Year’s Eve), all three of them went out to have dinner and cheer on the New Year. They left me alone with Alfa….some treat!  Later on after midnight, they all came home and before they went to bed, they hugged us and wished us a Happy New Year.

On Thursday they all chilled out, and you guessed it…..bought another tree. A lemon tree to go with daddy’s G&T….hehehehehehehe. Another thing that happened, was seeing mummy and daddy going for a walk. Haven’t seen this in a while. They have now been doing this everyday since. I think it has something to do with daddy’s tummy mussels. Well that’s what he calls them. He says that he has too many mussels and must loose some….

On Friday evening Uncle Bruce and his sister came over for a BBQ. It was really nice to see them. Uncle Bruce loves me best. Alfa had to stay locked up in mummy and daddy’s room because they had all the downstairs doors open and were worried that Alfa might wonder outside and go away. You see, it was 3 years ago that my buddy Rico was hit by a car on this very date.

On Saturday daddy went away on a tramp with friends and his son Harry, to the Watakere Ranges to walk to a waterfall and have lunch. Sound nice and very relaxing. While daddy was doing that, mummy was taking down the Christmas tree, cleaning the BBQ, house cleaning, laundry,……you get the picture I am sure.

Today, after their walk, they have just relaxed and gearing themselves for tomorrow. It’s the first full week back at work and there are tons of repairs to get through. Alfa and I are glad that they have both had a good rest and that we have been able to spend more time with them…..eating and sleeping….

Time to go now as I am again feeling a little sleepy. Have a great week and year to come from Alfa and the Queen Zara J
