Students and some people are still on the summer holiday, but we, the DR TOOT team has been having the busiest summer ever !!! This week, some customers brought some instruments for repairs, and mummy has been helping daddy and Shoko at workshop. She has been cleaning and polishing flutes' keys. There are still lots of instruments from schools need to be done. My big sis, Zara and I are assisting mummy and daddy to make sure everything is fine for them..........maybe NOT ! We are just busy sleeping and eating....doing cat's thing ! JJJ
Monday, one of our regular and loyal customers came to drop off his tenor sax for an annual service - it's very good see him again ! Then, Tuesday, Zara and I welcomed father and son from Thames. The father came to the Selmer workshop back in November. He visited us the second time here and this time he was with his son, who is studying at New Zealand School of Music in Wellington. He tried our pre-loved Yamaha trumpets and left for home with one of them. Zara and I heard his playing and we loved the sound....we are the cats at DR TOOT - we know what we are talking about J Thanks, Jonathan and Happy Tooting from the Team at DR TOOT !
Friday, the familiar faces again here at DR TOOT - in the afternoon, a family (mother, daughter and son) visited us. They purchased a pre-loved Yamaha flute before and this time the son wanted to try alto sax mouthpieces. He tried Selmer mouthpieces and he picked up the S80C* ! They also brought in an alto sax and a clarinet for services - Good customers J After work, another familiar face visited us....daddy's friend, Steve joined us for dinner, BBQ outside !
Today, Sunday, another awesome weather here, and I enjoyed outside very much J Mummy was doing her things in the office and daddy was working at workshop in the afternoon. I honestly wish that everyday all year is like this weather and spend my time all day outside......without leash !!!
