Good evening all from a, well rested Queen Zara. You see,
Alfa and I have been relaxing at our favourite Cat Hotel here in Howick. All
these repairs have taken a toll on Alfa’s and my nerves and we really needed
some time out. Ok….the real truth is, is that mummy and daddy went down to New
Plymouth for the first New Zealand Classical Saxophone retreat and mummy and
daddy did a Selmer workshop there. Again Alfa and I were not invited. A no cats
aloud system was in place so we instead enjoyed the time away meeting other
cats and letting them get to know me better. It was a thrill for them to meet
me and also a chance to meet Alfa…..for those desperate enough. Alfa cried
often while we were here because she missed her mummy. Such a mummy’s girl. We
were looked after well and are both very happy J
This week was a short week, but wow it was a busy one. The
week started with a sale of a mint condition YAS 275 Alto sax to our local
Howick Music School. Then a Kawai Trumpet went to another school down south.
Later on a gentleman arrive to try our Yamaha YSS475 Soprano Sax and bought it!
He loved the tone and the way it played. Later that afternoon, and said again
how happy he was with the soprano saxophone and the service he received. This
made daddy very happy J.
On Friday a mum and dad and son came in to look at a
trombone. Of course they came to look and try a couple of trombones we have in
stock, and fell in love with a trombone that just arrived a couple of days ago
from Japan. He made a great sound on the trombone and I was so surprised that
he had only been learning for only one year! We were all really impressed. Last
but not least to finish our Friday was the sale of a beautiful YCL350F Yamaha
wooden clarinet. This clarinet like the trombone, both arrived this week and
both were sold within just a couple of days after arriving. This week we also
had a Yamaha cornet, and flute come in from Japan. I am sure they will find
homes soon. Something special is arriving next week from France, but that is
for Alfa to share…..
Well its nice to have a break, but it’s good to be home.
Alfa and I slept in different areas which was nice for me, but a little hard
for Alfa. Tonight it’s back to our usual routine and both sleeping in the
downstair’s bathroom. She kept most of us awake on Friday and Saturday night
talking about life at DR TOOT. All the cats already know about DR TOOT as our
blog details are on the human’s notice board at the cattery. Time to say good
night until next time. Have a PURRRRRFECTTTT Week EVERYBODY!!!!
