The week started off with a sale of a pre-loved Antigua alto
sax which arrived in from Japan just on Monday morning. Remember that if we don’t
have what you are looking for, you can always ask us to look for something and
we will do our best to find the right instrument at the right price for you.
Masaru is away for another week in Japan so it was up to Taka and daddy to keep the repair going and mummy to keep the invoicing and sales moving.
Earlier last week, another Selmer Paris Seles Axos alto sax arrived in the country. These are an amazing saxophone. Where else can you get a quality Selmer Paris alto sax new for just $5500? Well, no sooner had it landed and set up by Taka, then a customer who has been saving for a long time, bought it! The customer told daddy that he tried a Selmer Paris saxophone in South Africa and never forgot that “Selmer” sound. He knew that one day he would have his own Selmer Paris. On Thursday, it happened and daddy drove out to meet him and delivered it to him. He was so very happy and couldn’t wait to take it home and play. What a week!!!! 😊
On Friday, a customer who bought a Yamaha preloved professional clarinet off us last year, has ordered a pre-loved Buffet Bass Clarinet. This beautiful instrument should arrive soon and after it is checked over and set up, will be sent to her. Nothing makes me happier than to see our beautiful instruments find good people enjoying these great instruments 😸

Mummy has been very, very busy preparing for the upcoming the University of Auckland Clarinet Weekend 2018 which is happening over the weekend September 29-30 at the
Auckland University. DR TOOT will have a stall there where we will display many
clarinets and clarinet accessories. I am a little concerned though…. Daddy told
me that a couple of Alphas are arriving soon for the event. We don’t want
another Alfa!!! 🙀 More on this later 😎
