We had a gorgeous spring weather here in
Auckland during the weekend. Lots of things happened and my tiny brain tries to
catch up everything ๐บ
Mio
had her first week at DR TOOT, All Blacks won their first game, and Howick
Brass got lots of cups at the ABA (Auckland Bands Association) Band Contest on
Saturday.
Mio from Japan started on Monday and she is
doing very well. She is staying with us at the moment and it’s good thing is
that she loves cats….hehehehe. My big sis Zara is a “love me” cat, so she is
already sleeping on her lap if daddy is out at night time ๐
The DR TOOT workshop looks organized and
very good - The layout of Taka’s bench has changed and his has more space. All
pads, corks, felts..etc are now in one place and looks very tidy and
professional ๐
It seems to be much busier at DR TOOT. There
are some instruments lined up for repairs/services and instruments keep coming
in….I, Alfa as a PA of mummy, must apologize to our customers that the current
waiting time is up to 2 weeks. The Team tries all our best and work hard !!!
Speaking of “work hard”, the members of
Howick Brass played very well at the contest and came in the first of C grade -
Well done, everyone !!! And of course, the players of All Blacks…Well done,
boys…Go Go, Blacks ๐๐๐
On Friday, another instrument from Japan
found a new home in Auckland. It was a Yamaha soprano sax YSS475 and a special
order by one of our customers, who missed the last one we had in stock. Well,
as Zara and I always say if you are looking for an instrument which we do not
have in stock, please contact our mummy and she will try her best to find one
for you !!!
Also, daddy and mummy have made the first
order of BAC (Best American Craftsmen) trumpets and trombones from USA - What
an exciting news…they are coming to New Zealand !
I will stop here…and enjoy the spring from
the window ๐ธ๐ธ๐ธ
