What a week !!!...that’s normally Zara says, but it is true…it
was really “What a Week” for mummy and daddy at DR TOOT J Lots of our pre-loved instruments have found
new home this week and left DR TOOT !
A Yamaha professional bass clarinet has left for Australia ,
a professional Buffet clarinet has gone to a professional musician in
Wellington, a Yamaha flute has gone to Hamilton, a Jupiter alto sax has gone to
Christchurch, and also a Bach trumpet has found a new home in Christchurch. No wonder mummy has been busy at daddy’s
workshop for packing !
Yesterday, a 15 year-old young muso came to see DR TOOT with
his mum and has fallen love with a Keilwerth alto sax. He was very happy to find the sax and he has
left with it. Today, mummy and daddy had
a lovely Sunday in Warkworth and Matakana and came back home, and customers
visited DR TOOT to bring in a clarinet for repairs. Then, they have left with one of our
pre-loved Yamaha clarinets…..ummmm, you’ve
never know what’s gonna happen at DR TOOT J
Now, mummy and daddy have to find more instruments in
Japan. Speaking of instruments, three
instruments have arrived from Japan – two Yamaha student model flutes and a Yamaha
wooden clarinet YCL35. More instruments
are arriving here soon.
Zara was not happy last week, because mummy didn’t have her
photo on her blog last week – as you can see, there is no photo of Zara ! Mummy was so busy and didn’t have time to
take a photo. So, Zara asked me to take
a photo of her, but I said to her “a camera is too heavy for me !” JJJ Well, I have to mention about tomorrow because
Zara has asked me - Yes, Queen’s Birthday here.
Zara thinks that it is her another birthday….she is a very happy cat J
