Well, another busy and unusual week at DR TOOT’S. No one week
is the same as the other. Monday was a holiday here, known as Queens Birthday
Weekend. As many of you know, it’s really not the Queen’s Birthday. It’s not my
birthday either, but we both have this day set aside for all of you to remember
me, (us), and all we do for the community. I am a beckon of hope and beauty and
an amazing role model for cats all around the world. I am also very shy and
modest too….
Mummy again this week has been busy packing and sending
reeds, neck straps, mouthpieces etc. If it’s for brass and woodwind
instruments, then we will have it and sell it. If you want something that we
don’t have, then please call mummy and she will get it in for you. It’s all
about service and mummy and daddy say that the customer’s needs are always most
important.
This week has been a bit strange. Daddy was on the phone to
Uncle Bruce about something, but wouldn’t tell me anything. That’s not like
daddy. He always tells me everything. Then I noticed that daddy had his tuba
lesson on Thursday evening instead of Friday evening. I am not happy. I like
order and routine. On Friday morning mummy and daddy were really sweet to Alfa
and me. More than usual!! Then the cat biscuit dropped…Mummy and Daddy were
escaping for the weekend to Rotorua. Their first holiday away that had nothing
to do with the business. A weekend away enjoying
spas, hot pools and massages and fine dining. I was not included in this. I was
not happy. It was nice having Uncle Bruce looking after us. They were gone for
48 hours…the longest 48 hours this week.
I best stop now. As I speak…Alfa is curled up behind daddy.
What does she want? What is she up to. That’s my Daddy!!!!! I am sorry
everybody. I am feeling a little emotional at the moment. I am very sensitive !
