Yes, the sounds are from daddy…not playing a tuba but he
had a flu ! He is still coughing
constantly and making funny noises which makes mummy, Zara and me annoyed and
concerned. He was unable to work for the
last few days and he slept a lot. Zara
was happy with sleeping with daddy all day J
Monday & Tuesday, daddy attended a Music Festival at
King’s School. He supported low brass players and had a concert on
Tuesday. Daddy said that there were lots
of students and one tuba player. Every year, Kings School invites a few schools
to join in. The standard each year gets higher and higher. Daddy is very proud
to be part of this amazing team.
Wednesday, daddy’s flu was getting worse and had to
cancel lessons in the afternoon. He was
working at workshop in the morning, but he went back to bed again. The next day, he stayed in the bed all day…while
he was resting with Zara, mummy was working harder – cleaning and polishing
keys of clarinets and flutes at workshop and I looked after the office as a
mummy’s PA - The life at DR TOOT must go on J
Friday morning, when mummy checked emails, there were two
emails from the same lady from Scotland.
She wanted to buy one of our pre-loved French Horn mouthpiece. When mummy was replying to the lady, our
phone rang around 8.00am. It was from
the lady - It sounded that the customer was really keen to get the mouthpiece
! Well, the Neil Sander mouthpiece has
left for a new home in Scotland.
My highlight this week….was daddy found my little toy
ball, which I played with all the time when I was little. I was soooooooooooo happy to see it again and
play it every day and night J
Mummy and daddy thought that I am gone crazy…again J But, it wasn’t only me - also
Zara was crazy about kicking the ball !
