Welcome to the Hotel TOOT….again. Honestly, have people forgotten that this is
my place??! You all know from the
history of my blogs, that my home is my castle and I do so love my privacy….Mum
came, then Rico, Rico gone then Alfa. This week we have had humans coming and
going and some staying….I will get to that later.
This week as usual has been a week of repairs and sales.
A lovely trumpet, with red brass bell and silver-plated has found a home in Kapiti Coast. This trumpet was requested by a customer who asked us to look for
one and advised us on their budget. It arrived with an amazing YAS475 Alto Sax
this week. Daddy of course serviced both and within 48 hours, the trumpet was
on it’s way to a new home. The Alto is
still here, me thinks for not too long. It looks new and sounds very special.
The other sale was to a nice boy called George. I didn’t
meet him, but Alfa said he was a cool dude and his dad came from America, which
is close to where daddy is from…Canada. George tried the Yamaha sax in daddy’s
workshop and loved it. He now is going to find a name for it.
Daddy and Mummy had a friend from Wellington fly up and stay
with us on Friday night. I have mentioned him before. His name is Alex Nyman
and he is very famous in New Zealand and plays saxophone. Daddy is his
saxophones personal Doctor. Daddy and Alex spent all day talking…if you know
daddy, you will know that daddy did most of the talking. Later that evening,
Steve and Anji came over and everybody stay for a beautiful dinner that mummy
had prepared. They were all happy and lights out didn’t happen till wee wee
into the late morning hours. I think they all had a bit too much cat nip, if
you know what I mean.
We are all tired and I must sleep. I have my house back
to myself and ready for the new week…..night night J
PS: Happy Father’s Day, Daddy !!!
