I know, it’s a bit early for Christmas and I don’t see
the tree yet. But, it seems to be just like Christmas for daddy and mummy. Wednesday, daddy left for the airport, early
morning to pick up a parcel from Henri Selmer in France. After three hours, daddy came back with a big
parcel ! Daddy and mummy opened the parcel carefully and they are so excited to
see the top quality brand new saxophone and clarinet – Reference 54 tenor sax
and Signature Bb clarinet. Well, I was
kicked out from the office before they open it, but as you can see the photo…of
course, I had to check it out J
I could smell the scent of France !
Another busy week here….lots of our pre-loved instruments
have found a new home this week. Yamaha
flute has gone to Dunedin, Altus flute has gone to Christchurch, Yamaha alto
sax has gone to Ohaupo (near Hamilton), the Aizen
alto sax has gone to a new home in Auckland and Yamaha trombone will be leaving
for Nelson tomorrow. Mummy and daddy are
looking for more pre-loved instruments in Japan !
The school holiday have finished, but more instruments
are coming in for repairs and services. Daddy seems to be stuck at
workshop. Also, he had a concert on
Saturday. He was out Thursday and Friday
nights for rehearsals. It was a big
concert by Manukau Symphony Orchestra. It was a first time concert which had
Pacific Island music blending in with a full size symphony orchestra. It was a
full of audience and a great concert !
It ‘s beautiful weather outside today and I enjoyed
outside a little bit with my big sis Zara and mummy. Mummy is still busy preparing new flyers and
working on the website for Henri Selmer Paris products. Their mouthpieces will be arriving here soon. Zara and I am so proud of mum. Some friends of
daddy really admired the website - Nice one mummy J
Daddy and mummy have been finding lots of fur on the carpets. Some of it Zara’s and some of it mine. It’s that time of year when Zara and I don’t need our fur coats and are looking for a slimmer and better look. So it’s out with the old and in with a slimmer sleeker look. Speaking of looks…daddy had a hair cut and somebody was asking which part. Hahaha….. Daddy has a number one hair cut. Less fur on his head now J Nighty night all JJJ
