Yes it’s the last week of school, but it has been anything
but a holiday here. Repairs, sales, sales, repairs, all coming and going. Everyday it seemed that daddy was doing 2
flutes and 1 saxophone a day as well and doing some minor servicing on
instruments. Mummy has been lost and sometimes found in her office. You see, as
we mentioned before, DR TOOT, is now an official distributor and agent for
Henri Selmer Paris Instruments and accessories. This is a huge honor. Selmer
Paris is many, many, years older than daddy…..very old, and has been making
quality clarinets and saxophones for years. Mummy has been working on prices and
we will soon list on our website a range of instruments, mouthpieces and
accessories made by Selmer Paris - Alfa
and I can hardly keep our fur on. Just too exciting here!!!!
Three flutes have found new homes as well as a couple of
saxophones this week. At first I thought people were coming to see me, but, no,
they were coming to buy these beautiful instruments from DR TOOT. As well as
instruments, many reeds and accessories went out, but too many to count.
Now, about my health….. I know that many of you are
concerned about what happened to me. Just to put the record straight……it was
Alfa that caused the infection that made me go and see the vet. Yes Alfa. She
scratched me on my #@*&# and it was really sore. I am better, but will be
more careful in future when Alfa starts, well you know….that again. The pills
have stopped as well as the cream on my……you know :-)
Big storms in Auckland this week and as usual, Alfa was a
bit scared. Don’t tell Alfa, but I too was a bit scared. Strong winds and heavy
rain. We heard that many people on the North Shore had tree break down and power
turn off. Alfa and my hearts go out to all the cats and we say….be patient and give
the humans time to fix things up.
Daddy is cooking a roast tonight and all smells great. Time
to purr off and wish you a happy night and good luck with the beginning of the
last term of the year!
