Is it really Labour Day Weekend??

Yes it is, but why are mummy and daddy working? They have been out all morning and finished off at the garden centre. They came home with a few plants and ideas on where they will go. Alfa and I were very busy watching and suggesting where the plants should go. Alfa was off her leash all afternoon and for a little moment , she was just like every other cat. She ran around and climbed up trees and was very happy. Mummy was busy trimming bushes and plants, while daddy was busy washing the outdoor furniture and wanting a whiskey at the end of the day…Mummy said NO!!! So now he is enjoying a glass of red wine. The gardens look beautiful and everything looks right.

It’s only weeks now till the year finishes and Daddy and mummy will receive many instruments in for servicing. The repair shop will be full of flutes, clarinets, trumpets etc. Daddy has ordered from the States, many bits and pieces including pads from Europe. Everything will be ready for all the repairs. This is a very busy time for mummy and daddy, and Alfa and I have to do some extra work around the house. We don’t mind and it all helps mummy and daddy in the end.

As Alfa and I have mentioned before, DR TOOT is now Importers and distributors of Henri Selmer Paris Clarinets, Saxophones, mouthpieces and accessories. Our first shipment of mouthpieces should arrive here this week. We are so excited about this. I am sure Alfa will have much to say about this next Sunday. This week a new home has been found here in Auckland for a Yamaha cornet we had. More instruments are due to arrive soon and in time find new homes.

Well it’s time to hop on daddy’s lap and show him I love him. Tomorrow mummy and daddy do not have to work as it is a long weekend. For Alfa and I, every day and weekend is always a long weekend. Have a great week and purrs to you all...Queen Zara J
