Honestly, I don’t really understand much, but my big sis
Zara told me that I must mention this in my blog….Well, DR TOOT became an
official distributor for Henri Selmer Paris ! I said to Zara “Who ???” Then, she explained to me that the Selmer
Company in France is a very famous musical instruments international company founded in 1885. Wow….very old ;-) For mummy
and daddy, it’s a very exciting and big news !!! We are so happy to see “DR TOOT” is on their
website as a distributor in New Zealand J
In New Zealand, the daylight saving has started and
school holiday too. We had lots of customers and visitors at DR TOOT. Lots of instruments have arrived for repairs
and services. A few mouthpieces, flutes and a Yamaha trombone landed at DR TOOT
from Japan too. Daddy has been busy as usual and mummy has been sitting at
front of computer all the time to work out the prices for Henri Selmer Paris
products. I know that mummy does not like numbers much, but she researches,
analizes…and has moments, oh no, calculate numbers….mmm, Sorry mummy, I am
your PA, but I cannot help you with that, hehehe J
This week, mother and daughter visited DR TOOT from
Tauranga. The girl tried one of our
pre-loved Yamaha Custom clarinet and she really liked it. She brought her alto
saxophone for service and she plays tenor sax too. Wow, some people are very
talented…like me, I can kick a ball J
Anyway, they left with the clarinet and the clarinet will have a new life in
Tauranga.
Wednesday, Zara had to go to the Howick Vet. I really don’t
know what happened to her, but mummy found a wound near her bottom. Now, Zara
has to take a pill every morning and evening after meal and have a pink gel
wiped on the spot. Woooooooo, she is not
happy !
Friday, daddy had a concert (another one J) with Auckland
University Orchestra at Auckland Uni. He played a tuba very well and enjoyed
the concert. After the concert, he went out with the other players for nibbles
and a few drinks. This was fine, but woke Zara and I up when he got home….late.
Naughty daddy… We both needed our beauty sleep JJJ
