Silver Beauties

What a What a week….my small brain tries to remember everything what happened this week, but too much ! For me, last Sunday mummy and daddy came back from Greytown , that was highlight J I hopped on mummy’s lap and slept for while at night time…I was in heaven J. I know that I said “No more mummy’s lap !” before, but I could not resist…I missed my mummy so much…daddy too, of course.

Tuesday, we went to our vet for annual check ups and vaccination. We met a new young doctor, and he was really impressed with me J He kept saying how beautiful I am, in front of Zara…oh, she didn’t like it…too bad !

This week, a few instruments arrived from Japan. Daddy was busy servicing them and mummy was busy taking photos of them and listing them on website and TradeMe. One of instruments was a gorgeous silver baritone sax…It is huge ! One of customers in Christchurch was interested in the saxophone. It was especially tested by a professional saxophonist in Auckland, and he was so impressed with this baritone sax.  Well, it has been sold to this customer and it will be leaving for Christchurch on Monday…it was a such short stay at DR TOOT. Another silver Yamaha alto sax has just arrived the other day...uuuummm, another beauty !

A few other pre-loved instruments have found new homes too.  Yamaha flute 311 and Vito clarinet have found a new home through TradeMe. The flute has gone to Blenheim and the clarinet has left for Christchurch.  Another Yamaha alto sax YAS62 has found a new owner in Masterton, where mummy and daddy drove through last week.

Today, it was a looong day for daddy. He had an AWO concert in the city and after that he joined mummy and went to a Baradene School Touring Concert Band Fundraising Concert and had a stall. They displayed our pre-loved instruments, flyers, Gonzalez reeds, Selmer mouthpieces…etc. It was funny to see when they came back, they were wearing the same DR TOOT t-shirts ! They told me and Zara that they had a very good time and saw the familiar faces.

Well, I can see that Zara has already cured up on daddy’s lap and I think it’s my turn to hop on mummy’s lap J JJ
