Too hot for fur coats….

It’s very, very hot outside for two fur balls like Alfa and I. As you know, it’s summer here in New Zealand. The average day is 25-27 C outside and we have to wear our fur coats all the time. The plus side is that are able to have all the windows and doors open, but for Alfa, she has to wear a leash for most of the day. She will never be mature enough to stay outside without supervision.

This week as other weeks, we have seen daddy and Shoko working very hard at getting the school instruments done by the end of this month. Mummy is also very busy doing all the invoices and getting in more stock for us to sell.

This week two flutes and two clarinets arrived in from Japan. The two flutes were for two sisters. The flutes arrived…serviced and then couriered to their new home in Auckland. One of the clarinets was also ordered from a family in Auckland and was picked up on Friday. The girl was so happy to receive her Yamaha wooden clarinet. All of these instruments were specially ordered as we did not have them in stock. Remember…..if you are looking for something and we don’t have it in stock, give mummy an idea of your budget and she will do her best to get one in for you.

On Friday it was Shoko’s birthday. She has just turned 21. Mummy did sushi and made an amazing cheese cake. All of us were outside having dinner. It was lovely and she took a picture of me. Alfa didn’t want a photo because she was still on her leash and was a bit shy about that. I must admit though, that she is spending more and more time unleashed and free. Maybe she is becoming a big girl.

Well my friends, it’s time to say goodnight. Watching daddy work hard has made me very sleepy. BBQ tonight again, so I again will be able to help from a distance J
