Mummy and daddy are very very happy because of ME !? JJJ
Monday, it was a beautiful winter blue sky in Howick. Lots
of people came and went. A few different courier drivers - dropped off parcels
from Italy and Japan and picked up lots of parcels from us. Customers came to
picked up instruments and dropped off instruments. The phone and email were
busy too. One of phone calls was from Wanganui where had big floods over the
weekend. After the floods, it was a sunny day over there. The gentleman wanted
to purchase our pre-loved Yamaha alto sax YAS62 with the latest 62 Neck. Well,
the next day, the saxophone has left for Wanganui.
Tuesday, it was another pretty blue sky, but it was sooooo
cold ! Anther customer in Wanganui received his repaired flugel horn safely
from us, phoned up to say how happy he is ! The phone call made mummy and daddy
warm J
Then, our first BBb tuba has found a new home in Auckland - Daddy personally
delivered to the new owner !!!
From Paris, Selmer Signature A clarinet arrived safely…the
clarinet was special ordered by one of our customers who has already has the
Signature Bb clarinet. The A clarinet came with a very stylish case and it will
be joining with the Bb clarinet soon J
Wednesday, we received a phone call from our customer in
Oamaru. She wanted to purchase one of our pre-loved Yamaha alto saxophones…
after daddy’s talk, talk, talk…the YAS34ll has left for Oamaru in the
afternoon. Then, our new addition, Yamaha French double horn also has found a
new home in Auckland.
Thursday morning, another alto saxophone has found a new
home in Auckland. It was an Antigua intermediate model sax. Then, around 5.30pm
in the afternoon, everyone at DR TOOT heard that mummy said “Whattaaa….!!!”
loudly in her office. Yes, another pre-loved saxophone has found a new home in
Tokoroa on Trade Me !
Then, we had another busy day on Friday. Lots of customers with
instruments came to DR TOOT – a baritone sax, alto saxophones, flutes,
clarinets, trumpets…etc. The next day, Saturday, another Yamaha alto sax YAS475
has found a new owner in Auckland !
Wow, our showroom was a full of instruments and now it needs
to be filled again…mummy is now busy looking for more pre-loved instruments,
and more saxophones and trumpets are coming in next month. So, if you missed

Last night, daddy played a tuba with Manukau Symphony
Orchestra. Tonight, he played with Howick Brass Band…He will be in Rotorua soon
for the Championship this year….busy busy busy ! Cold nights…keep well and warm, everyone J
