Black & White tabby…it’s not me, but another silver
tabby intruded to our backyard ! My big sis, Zara and I saw the cat…we are not
sure where she came from but she walked around and stayed there for a while.
The other day, mummy and daddy noticed that she was at our
backyard again and daddy actually went outside and held her…..ummmm, Zara did
not like it !!! She was quite friendly…
This week, it was another busy week at DR TOOT ! Two parcels
arrived from USA for our repair shop, pads from Italy, and pre-loved
instruments from Japan….and a Big News arrived from Boston, USA on Friday - Well,
DR TOOT is now the New Zealand official distributor for Powell Flutes !!! We
all are very honored and excited about the news J
Mummy put the announcement on our facebook, and it was a huge impact. Lots of
our customers/flute players seem that they are so happy with news – Thank you J
One of our pre-loved saxophones has found a new home in
Pukekohe on Friday ! The mother of the new owner phoned up DR TOOT, and as
usual, after daddy talked, talked, talked J,
the customer ordered the Yamaha tenor sax YTS475 through our website, and the
next day, they visited us to collect the saxophone. Daddy normally asks our customers to name
their instruments, and she had already a name for it - Tina Moose J ummmm, the new moose
on the block !??? J
Yesterday, daddy played a tuba with Manukau Symphony
Orchestra (MSO). He was so nervous because he had big solos and he had to play
hard pieces which had very high notes on his CC tuba. Mummy told us that he
nailed it, so Zara and I gave him lots of high paws JJJ
This coming Friday, DR TOOT will have the 2nd “Selmer
Night with Guest Artists” at Lewis Eady in Auckland. So far, it’s looking good

Wellington !?? Yes, they will be in Wellington soon…Zara
told me that we have to stay at hotel (cattery) this time…ummmm, that’s my
concern at the moment. I’ve never been to one of them…..I guess I will feel
like “the new cat on the block” !? Meeting other cats…..meooooooowwww…Zara said
it would be fun J
