My big sis, Zara is still counting for
X’mas…can’t she have a better idea for her blog’s title ??? Anyway, this week
started with a few instruments including a couple of warranty jobs on
saxophones. The DR TOOT Team is happy to see our pre-loved instruments coming
back for servicing again J One alto sax from Oamaru and another one from Queenstown !
Also, there were an alto and baritone
saxophones, which were dropped off last Saturday from Te Awamutu. They were
sold a few years ago and came in for the full services. Shoko worked on the
baritone sax and Masaru worked on the alto sax, then he tested the both of
them. Mummy took a video which Masaru is testing the baritone sax, and put on
our google+, instagram and facebook pages J
Three pre-loved instruments arrived safely
from Japan. All of them have been serviced by the Team and two of them have
found their new home before mummy had taken their photo’s – Yamaha wooden
clarinet has gone to Napier and Selmer Bundy bass clarinet has gone to a new
home in Auckland.
Not only these two instruments but also a
brand new Selmer Seles Prologue clarinet has found a new home in Auckland on
Friday and a pre-loved Yanagisawa alto saxophone went to a new family in
Auckland yesterday. Coincidentally, they have gone to young talented musicians
who goes to the same school J
The last month of a year, December has
started…yeah, already ! It seems that the Team at DR TOOT is busy…some
instruments have arrived for servicing and more to come from schools soon. A
few more pre-loved instruments will be arriving here from Japan soon too !
Today, it was a gorgeous and hot day here
in Auckland. I spent some times with Zara outside….of course, still with my
friend, leash J. Daddy got dressed into his uniform this afternoon because the
Howick Brass Band was going to play a Santa Parade and daddy was playing the
sousaphone in the Howick Santa Parade this afternoon. I wish Zara and I could
go as Santas little helpers J. Oh well, mummy and Masaru went and had a good time !
3 weeks to go, hehehehe....Enjoy the
summer and Happy Tooting, everyone ! JJJ
