Hello, everyone…hope
that everyone keeps warm and stays away from bugs or virus….etc. We had lots of
rain, wind…and even thunder this week !
The DR TOOT Team has
been very busy as School Holidays have started in NZ and we start receiving
lots of instruments from everywhere J
On Monday, we saw
familiar faces in the morning - A family from USA, who used to live near us and
the father was the HOD Music at one of schools in South Auckland. It was very
nice seeing them all…missed one of daughters who was a daddy’s saxophone
student ! Thank you so much for visiting us J
The same day, three
instruments have found their new home…yeahhh, I had a very good start J The Yamaha trumpet YTR432GS and Yamaha alto
sax YAS475 have gone to a new home in Gisborne
- the saxophone for father and trumpet for son ! Then, one of our
customers visited us with her husband. We serviced her ABS clarinet and she
wanted to upgrade it to a wooden clarinet. She saw the Buffet E11 wooden
clarinet on our website and she left with the clarinet and happy face !
Then, Thursday,
another Bb clarinet has found a new home via Trade Me. This time, the Yamaha
Custom CX clarinet has gone to a new home in Tauranga J The new owner has left a very kind feedback on
Trade Me for us….Enjoy the clarinet !!!
I should say that I
had a “Clarinet Week” !? Well, another clarinet has found a new home…it was the
Buffet R13 Prestige A clarinet and in Christchurch ! One of our customers has
purchased in via our website on Friday and it is ready to leave here tomorrow !
Speaking of “Clarinet
Week”, we also have received lots of clarinets for repair ! Masaru had been working on a pair of Selmer
for full services and another big job, Platinum Service (complete overhaul) is
waiting for him on Yamaha Custom CS clarinet.
Taka has been very
busy with lots of flutes !!! He has just serviced our stock Jupiter flute too,
so it will be on our website too J
Daddy had big jobs too
– worked on a few brass instruments. You can see some of photos on our
instagram and facebook page. Well, mummy has been very busy taking photos and
updating website…and packing lots of orders and repaired instruments which go
back to the owners everywhere in NZ J
