As usual, the DR TOOT
Team had another busy week…As the last week of the school holiday, some
customers dashed to bring in their instruments ! Lots of instruments came in
and gone. Hope that everyone is ready for Term 3 J
Ah…a customer who
phoned us on Saturday while mummy and daddy were out and left a message on the
answering machine but didn’t leave a phone number – please contact us ! If you
are reading this… JJJ
Well, this week 3
pre-loved instruments have found a new home !!! The Yamaha flute 311 is going
to a new home in Wanganui soon. The Yamaha alto sax YAS275 has been picked up
by a lady in Whangarei , and the Yanagisawa tenor sax T900u is now on the way
to Christchurch….hopefully the tenor sax will arrive safely at the new home
tomorrow !
Speaking of Whangarei,
the NZ National Concert Bands Festival will be staring on 3rd of
August at Forum North in Whangarei. It will be the biggest festival in their
history ! Wow !!! The DR TOOT Team minus me and Zara will be there…yes, I know…this
means that Zara and I have to stay at the Loft (our cattery) again…I know that…mummy told me
the other day J Zara is not
really looking forward to it, but I am fine….it’s a nice chance to see other
cats J
More instruments will
be arriving here from Japan this coming week – Yanagisawa alto sax A902
(Bronze) and Buffet Bb clarinet R13. They will be serviced by the team and
ready soon J
Today, Taka, Masaru
and Daddy played with Auckland Wind Orchestra (AWO). They will be playing again
with the orchestra on Saturday for their 50th Anniversary reunion
concert….Daddy is very looking forward the concert to see many people who haven’t
seen for over 30 years !!!!!
