Life is always changing and moving
forwarding…does not stop until you die. Well, it’s time to say “Good Bye” to
Masaru, but the DR TOOT Team don’t want to say that…especially, Zara. So, we
shall say “Good Luck and All the Best” to him. After 3 years in NZ, he decided
to go back to Japan to live…and he finished DR TOOT on Thursday and left for
Japan on Friday! Mummy and Daddy gave him a lift to the airport early morning.
It was a very sad moment…. We will miss his kindness and smile !
Well, this week another very special thing happened
at DR TOOT. A gentleman drove up from Wellington and visited DR TOOT on
Saturday morning. He contacted daddy about a month ago originally. He was
emotional on the phone and talked about the Selmer Paris Privilege Low C bass
clarinet we had in stock. He has never played any bass clarinet in his life but
it was his long term dream to get the Selmer Paris bass clarinet particularly.
The right time came to him and we had it in stock…it just like meant to be. Daddy,
mummy, Zara and I all witnessed that he opened the case and his eyes were a full
of tears. Daddy showed him how to assemble and play…he made some sounds and it
was a wonderful moment. The bass clarinet has found a new home in Wellington π
Also, other instruments have found a new
home this week. Marcato Euphonium has found a new home in Christchurch via
Trade Me, another pre-loved Yamaha trumpet also has found a new home in
Christchurch via Trade Me. One of our customers has purchased the last Kanstul
trumpet and left for a new home in Whitianga. One of Briccialdi flutes has
found a new home locally and another pre-loved Yamaha clarinet YCL650 has gone
to Christchurch. Ummmm, needless to say, I am Alfa…Princess Alfa….Thank you,
all customer…I am so grateful and must say Goodie goodie gum drops drops πΈπΊπΈ
Mummy and daddy have been busy preparing a
room and workbench for a new staff member who is arriving this coming Saturday
from Japan. Her name is Mio and she is going to stay with us for a while and
start working on Monday, the 16th. I am sure Zara will be talking
about her next time.
It’s good see lots of flowers outside.
Spring is on it’s way and it will be getting warmer. With the warmer weather and
sunshine, means that I will be able to spend more time outside. On a leash of
course, but I don’t mind. Well, as you can see, I’ve been pretty busy as mummy’s
PA π I hope all of you are well and Happy Tooting !!! π
